Charlie Communications hosted a listening session on the 23rd of October in collaboration with 88 BeachSoweto in Vilakazi Street.
The media and personalities were invited to witness the experience of live performances of the Charflie Communications artists and also share what the venue had to unpack as it is situated in the famous street of Orlando Soweto.
The listening session was to promote the Charlie Communications artists as well as their latest releases of 2020. Artists who performed are all under the Charlie Sound stable trading as Charlie Communications. The first act to perform was Afro Jabba who is a an afrosoul vocalist, his. current release is titled, Afro Jabba 'Ndisakuthanda' followed by the sensational tribal artist by the name of Moh, real name Mbongeni Mavuso who captered compiler's hearts and his current single, Hamba Kahle was immedietely playlisted on metro FM.
Next to perform was the Afro Queen miss Deekay, who performed 3 of her releases including Solomon, a song she decribes as her life story. The audience was serinated by the live performance as they were listening to familiar songs and songs that have not been released so this was an exclusive experience. The ambience was
very chilled, spectators gathered under umbrellas for shade and sat on cushioned seats and were served by the proffesional staff of waiters and waitresses who worked tirelessly to ensure our audience was hydrated with beverages and glasses of cocktails mixed with Soweto Gin among Belair which were one of the sponsors for the event. For beer drinkers there was uKhamba Beer that was also part of the sponsors which made guests more energetic, Ukhamba Beer is the brand owned by Thapelo Mokoena.
Platters of food were served at tables which hosted Our VIP's included the respectable and legendary DJ Ganyani, the beautiful lady with an amazing voice from the original cast of the Sarafina Movie Khanyo, Musician and Skeem Saam actress Candy Tsa Mandebele, the notorious amapiano duo Kaygee and Bizizi just to mention a few.
Lindough who is famously known as Baba Ka Valdo dropped his single the same day, he had an amazing time as he was celebrating his release, his performance was electrifying to a point where ladies end up fighting for his selfies.
